Kate Revelle, LPC

When we decide to make changes in our lives it can be daunting, but it also allows us to take steps towards the person we ultimately long to be. I believe that we all have within ourselves unique strengths and resiliency, and sometimes we need guidance and support to tap into these aspects of our human potential. In my eight years of work in the mental health field, I continue to witness these strengths in action as clients begin the hard work of healing old wounds so they can move forward in a more whole and integrated way.

I specialize in working with clients to address anxiety, depression, substance use, family of origin concerns, life transitions, relationship issues, and concerns specific to the LGBTQ+ community, as well as people who want to improve self-esteem, self-awareness, boundaries, and communication skills. I take a strengths-based perspective that is grounded in mutual respect, self-compassion, and genuineness to create a safe and supportive dynamic. In the context of a trusting, non-judgmental, and collaborative therapeutic relationship where you can explore the issues that are important to you, we will work to better understand the internal and external patterns affecting your life. Through developing insight and awareness and strengthening your trust in yourself, we will create a foundation for lasting change, greater balance, and contentment. You are the one who knows your life the best and I am here to help guide and support you through the process of achieving your goals. I look forward to our work together.
